We’re all guilty of clutter on one level or another, but we don’t have to succumb to it! In our home, I’m getting ready for my quarterly(ish) purge to completely declutter. I promise you the purge process is easy to follow – every single room, desk, closet, cabinet, drawer and shelf is emptied and sorted into three simple categories: Keep It, Donate It or Trash It.
Once everything has been sorted, then you can strategically create a much prettier package of home organization happiness in each area. Not only that, you’ll feel all the warm and fuzzies when you donate your pre-loved items to local charitable organizations. It’s a very calming feeling once all is said and done; however, it can be tedious and sometimes emotional, no doubt about it.
Prepare yourself for a wild ride, depending on how long it’s been since you’ve last explored the nooks and crannies of your home. Check out the Simplified Before and After Gallery for some inspiration or contact us if you’d like some purge assistance!
Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.
